A bearingless machine should be designed to maximize the average and minimize ripple in electromagnetic torque levitating force. In a synchronous reluctance (BSynRM), complex rotor design levitation winding create rich spatial temporal spectrum of magnetic flux density airgap, which affects both force ripple. this article, novel method is introduced compute forces from harmonics airgap density. new indexing classify harmonic wavenumbers frequencies The proposed model enables understanding footprint on study carried out through finite element simulations, are verified by prototype measurements.
